Sermon: “Communion as Potluck” – Candidate for Commissioned Ministry, Dawn Carlson Conn

Participating in Communion has different meanings for each of us, ever changing meanings. What is it we bring to the table this month? The lectionary scripture is the confusing parable of the ten bridesmaids; five of whom would not share their oil with the other five. What will we bring to the table – what will we share in this potluck called church community?
